Since the July 3rd moonlight outing went so well (other than the rain), We thought that for next Tuesday’s outing, since there is a full moon scheduled, we would have both a MOON LITE cruise and celebrate with pizza, again at the HP Landing. We will provide pizza and water, if you like [...] Let’s give it a try tonight!! Even though it looks bad, we can always “park” under the yacht club docks again !!! to get any breeze, we will probably head out towards the bay again! I’ll be there about 6 Tuesday July 17th’s outing is canceled !! too hot and the chance of thunder storms are greatest between 6 -9 pm! We will reschedule for Thursday July 19th 6:30 !!
Next Thursday July 12th @ 6 pm, we have been invited to race at the Ottawa River Yacht Club ! We need to know who and how many canoers and kayakers will be participating, so please let me know. This way the ORYC will know how many Trophies to have for the winners! I [...] Just to let you know, that since we did not go out July 3rd due to the rain, the people that had reserved the club kayaks, will be using them on the July 9th outing! They are Lindsay and her mother, along with Jeff J. and Kim S., ( we were able to borrow [...] That’s right, everyone commented they had a great time, as they were dashing to their cars trying to keep dry, when the rain came pouring in sheets!!
There were over 20 paddlers with boats that came to share each others adventures. We had a variety pizzas from J-Cup’s Pizza’s of Point Place, that [...] |
