Since the July 3rd moonlight outing went so well (other than the rain), We thought that for next Tuesday’s outing, since there is a full moon scheduled, we would have both a MOON LITE cruise and celebrate with pizza, again at the HP Landing.
We will provide pizza and water, if you like a different beverage, please bring it, as long as it’s a non alcoholic drink and not in a glass container, remember this is a City park!
We will have a raffle for a paddle sport accessory.
Pizza will arrive at 7pm at HP Landing
Pizza and paddle stories – from 7 to 8pm or longer depending on the story teller, bring a folding chair to enjoy the event all the more!
Then get into your kayak or canoe, to paddle around on the Ottawa River waiting for the sunset to bring out that full moon, which is scheduled to “arrive” after 9pm.
Make sure your craft is properly equipped with night lighting, for safety sake! We do have a limited number of lights that are available, so when you make you reservation, Please indicate if you will be needing a light!
