Fall Color Kayak Tour 2014

Sorry but all the loaner kayaks/canoes have been booked for both days! If you own a kayak, you are welcome to join us either day!

Thank you for your interest, please check back with us  in May when we will resume weekly outings!

DON’T put those kayaks away just yet- – – –
NWORR is going give you the opportunity to keep those paddles of yours wet a little later in the season by having 4 days of paddling on Swan Creek. Swan Creek’s Tree canopy should be at it’s peak colors and we want to share the beauty with every kayaker and canoer! Pictures are from last year’s paddle.

NWORR is sponsoring a Fall Color Kayak Tour of Swan Creek on Saturday October 11th, Sunday 12th, Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th. Launching from “Swan Creek Landing” located next to the Farmers Market down town Toledo, leaving the dock promptly at noon on those days, so please be there by 11:30.
Plan on paddling 2 -3 hours, but if your paddling experience will not allow you to paddle that long, we will break up into groups and escort you back to the landing.
If you do not have a kayak, we have a limited number of kayaks that can be used for free, must be 18yrs of age unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian. At this time, we will only be taking one reservation per person, which could change depending on response!
Reserve one by emailing nscaleloco@yahoo.com and please include “Swan Creek” in the subject please, also which date you would like, whether “sit in or sit ontop” kayak and phone number to contact you.  Unless you receive a confirmation of your request within 48 hrs, means we have not received the request, please resend request!
