Old Woman Creek Estuary Explorations 2017

Here is another exploration opportunity…

FYI: Old Woman Creek Estuary has their Estuary Explorations 2017 bulletin printed. Within are numerous canoe tours of the estuary for the general public. All are free and the canoes, paddles and lifejackets are provided. In addition, a naturalist leads the group to provide interesting facts about the wetland, forests and beach. Scheduled canoe tours are set for Saturday mornings, 9am to 11am or Thursday evenings from 5 to 7pm. Also, paddlers with their own canoe or kayak can get a free permit at the visitor center to paddle the estuary on their own during usual operating times. Nice place to view bald eagles, herons, turtles, ducks and a multitude of plants. OWC is just east of Huron, Ohio on Route 6.
