We are currently looking to purchase a replacement camera!
Welcome to the live video – Ottawa River Cam.
The camera is near 124th Street and Ottawa River Road, pointed northwards at the Shoreland shore of houses, with the Washington Twp. Fire station’s radio tower barely visible above the trees.
During winter months, when ice might form making it look like a still image, a small American Flag is attached to the floating dock, to confirm that it is live video!
If you are using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome or Safari as your internet browser, you will see the live video below.
But if you are using Internet Explorer , please scroll down below the blank white area for instructions (where the video would normally be!
It may take a few minutes to fully load the video, also if you see light/dark bands flashing across the picture, that is just the camera automatically adjusting to varying sun conditions at the time, it is not your computer or your internet connection.
